Below are just a few items to check:
Is your indoor unit running?
No, see step 3.
Is your outdoor unit running?
No, check if your outdoor unit breaker is tripped and schedule a service appointment.
Does your thermostat use batteries, if not, is it on?
No, schedule a service appointment.
Does your system have a safety float switch at the indoor unit?
Yes, open it and check for a clogged drain or standing water.
Is your filter clean?
No, replace your filter.
Not all HVAC systems are the same but being familiar with some components can save you a lot of time and money!

HVAC Tips
Once a month we recommend during warmer months when running your A/C to pour vinegar down your drain and let it sit for about 2-5 minutes, then flush down by pouring 1 to 2 gallons of hot water.
Like your drain line, we recommend spraying your outdoor unit with water to remove debris from the condenser coils once a month. A 5-minute rinse can save you hundreds or even thousands of dollars in repairs!
Remember! Check your filter at least monthly, just because it claims to last 3 months does not mean it will. Every home is different!
